Fish are starting to move and get shallow!

A few more good trips lately to tell you about. First trip was crappie fishing up the glaize arm where we found them moving shallow with all the warm weather we were receiveing. 60 degree days in february. It was nice. Next me and Bassing Bob fished a Angler's Choice tournament on saturday since I had been on a roll lately cashing a check most tournements. We started off in the Niangua arm around the 54 bridge. A few hours goes by with only 3 small keeper bass in the livewell plus a few shorts. We had a good back up plan to run to the only problem was it was a long ways away. We decided to try it and it paid off. With two hours left in the day we went to work in the glaize arm limiting up and culled some of our smaller fish out. It was pretty fun afternoon where once again the fish pulled up on the bank to warm up. Monday morning went out to one of my secret spots were the fish had been biting consitently only to find that area only produced one fish. Once again the fish had moved probably due to the warm weather. We relocated them up stream quite a ways from where they were. A few small ones followed by a 6.9lb giant largemouth came on a jig, wow that was a big fish. My fishing partner caught another really big one too, at least 4 1/2 pound smallie! Then we got into an area just loaded with a bunch of smaller ones that were a lot of fun. Go to my facebook page to view the footage and pictures.
